DRex: Rapper Keeping it Real
When DRex released his first album (“Hustler/Rapper”) on Datpiff.com in Fall 2011, it taught him the power of connections and networking even without the marketing tools he needed. Even today the “Hustler/Rapper” album has a guaranteed hot tracklist for music heads who know the power of DRex, telling the truth with tracks like “My Life”, “Faghettaaboutit”, “Trappin” (with Gorilla Zoe), and others:
- Intro (The Promise Land)
- My Hood
- Come Home feat. Danita
- Do Your Thang
- Tipping feat. Diamond
- Drink the Pain Away
- Ain’t No Show feat. Isaiah
- What’s Life feat. Hell Rell
- You Don’t Know feat. Danielle
But for DRex, music was never far away. It wouldn’t be long before he was campaigning for a DRex new single, “Where You From” now available on iTunes and YouTube, and telling his truth to more and more fans online and in local clubs.
Background Rap
DRex and his Raw Ent street team set out to hit the streets grinding his newest mixtape entitled “The Streets is Watching”, hosted by DJ Bigga Rankin, one of the hottest DJs down south. This mixtape is also on Datpiff.com, and features tracks from Hell Rell and Gorilla Zoe.
Successful rappers need the right street cred, and DRex worked that in with other established artists:
- Hell Rell (Dipset) – (formerly with “The Diplomats”; first solo rap album: “For the Hell of It”)
- Diamond (Crime Mobb) – (BET award for best female Hip-Hop artist)
- Gorilla Zoe – (former member of Boyz N Da Hood; solo album “Welcome to the Zoo”, 2007)
- Papoose – (broke in with single “Alphabetical Slaughter”; lucrative deal with Jive Records)
Along with his work with fellow rappers, DRex has mixed with producers Wil C – Streetheat Ceo, Sy Fire, and Melody Child, and his work is gaining more traction with WorldstarHiphop.com, YouTube, and many other sites.

Wat it do family it’s me, DjBigO317 bringing some “Classy RnB Blood”. Now very seldom does one find a woman willing to give an Educational Guide with an RnB flow. Just as smooth if not smoother than the opposite sex!
Now, I know with that said I am going to get in trouble. But, I LOVE when female artists are comfortable enough to step into a territory that most male artist dive in daily. Why should it be so taboo for a woman when it’s our natural function as a society?! So, to my fellow readers this music is a step by step guide for the women who are not willing to have a voice and let you know how to give it to them…
So without further delay I’d like to introduce Ms. Lakesha Shuntae (a.k.a Dymyneyz – pronounced “Diamond eyes”) Washington.
Lakesha “Dymyneyz” Washington was blessed in the world on February 26, 1980. Lakesha got her start singing in the church choir at the beautiful age of seven years old. Dymyneyz is the proud mother of 3 children with the oldest being severely disabled. With the urgency of needing to be heard and express some of her life learning experiences Dymyneyz instantly decided to achieve her goal this past year. Finding the right words to express herself the urgency became even more stronger! With the help and support of her best friend Divine Dime ATL and her company Dime Inque, Dymyneyz got start and still is continuing thus far.
So, who is this RnB Artist? Dymyneyz is confidence, strength, determination, with a hint of killer sex appeal and that’s just some of the cake. It’s my opinion and I’m sticking to it.
Here’s a taste of it. (Warning: explicit contents ahead. Proceed with caution)

Now, Ms. Dymyneyz if ya can relate did me once over 3 times! Lol, girlfriend hit me with that “Hair”, then kicked me with “Sex Tape”, but her finishing move, “Slow Grind” had me at Omg, speak on it sista girl!

My sharing has come to an end. I just wanted to give you a little taste anyways. But, if that did not fill you up PLEASE FEEL FREE to check out more on Dymyneyz at these following social media outlets:
